Spinal Decompression
A Non-Invasive Treatment for Disc Bulges, Herniations and Degeneration
Spinal decompression is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment used in a multitude of clinical settings to target disc bulges/herniations and their associated signs and symptoms. Spinal decompression works by applying a small to moderate amount of force to the spine through motorized traction. This stretch can in turn promote healing by increasing blood flow to the affected area. In cases of herniated/bulging discs, it creates a negative pressure in the intervertebral disc which can retract and decrease pressure off of the nerves. Spinal decompression helps speed up recovery, decrease pain and increase range of motion.
